Discovering the Dordogne with your family, accompanied by your pet, is a privilege. Our campsite in Dordogne, near the town of Sarlat la Canéda, welcomes you and your pets.
CAMPING WITH DOG ALLOWED
Most families currently own at least one pet. The choice of your companion is often unanimous.
However, when it comes to preparing for the vacations, a major problem arises… who will take care of your dog or cat (or others)?
Because he also has the right to a vacation, choose a campsite that accepts animals!
We propose you to stay in our establishment, in all serenity, with your pets.
We are not a special camping for dogs, we simply accept you with your pet: cat, rabbit, dogs … Unfortunately, we cannot accept first category dogs.
Whether in a mobile home, in a chalet or on a pitch, share your vacations with your pet (provided that it is tattooed, vaccinated and has a health record).
Our friends the animals are accepted on our spacious pitches, and in our comfortable and design rentals for the most recent, with a daily supplement.
REGULATIONS FOR ANIMALS ON THE CAMPSITE
For the well-being of all, we would like to remind you of a few rules:
– Your companions must be kept on a leash
– We can only receive a maximum of 2 animals per site
– The natural needs must be doneoutside the campsite and must be picked up by the owner, or the one who has the custody
– We do not allow animals alone in the rental or on the pitch.
ATTENTION : For the stays in rented accommodation, we will check that the beds, blankets and comforters have not been soiled or returned full of hair. In case of non-compliance with this instruction, the price of a dry cleaning will be charged for each item requiring a repair (blanket / comforter: 15 € per item).
Tips before leaving on vacation with your pet:
- Go to the veterinarian to get a health certificate that you will bring with you during your vacations (this can reassure some people who are afraid of animals. Some campsites may ask you for it)
- Take his health booklet in case of a problem
- Opt for a retractable bowl that is easy to carry on your trips
- Brush it to limit the loss of hair in your vacation rental!
NEW IN 2022: AN AGILITY COURSE FOR YOUR DOG!
An agility course will be available on the campground this summer! You can let your pet loose and let it work out on the obstacle course consisting of jumps, tunnels, zone obstacles and slalom.
This agility course has several benefits:
- It promotes the bond between the owner and the dog
- It promotes concentration
- It refines education
- It maintains the physical condition
All dogs are allowed on the course, from the smallest to the largest, there is something for everyone. However, certain qualities are necessary for the dog to practice this sport: good physical condition, desire to learn, being attentive and listening to his master.
During your stay, you will meet the 3 beautiful Australian shepherds of the managers Emmanuelle & Stéphane. These three dogs : Rafale, Piya and Sally, playful and sociable, are particularly diligent for work, love agility. So we created a place just for our furry friends. So, you, owners of 4-legged friends, don’t hesitate any longer and come to spend good moments with your canine friends!
MORE THAN A CAMPSITE, AN ANIMAL PARADISE!
Our establishment is a real paradise for your companion who will enjoy an exceptional setting of 8 hectares of greenery.
Your pet will also appreciate our spacious pitches, most of them delimited and shaded. The mobile homes with covered terrace will be appreciated by your Labrador or French Bulldog! Just outside the campsite, take advantage of the surrounding paths, some of which are wooded, for family walks with your companion.
And in case of strong heat, you will appreciate the accessibility and the proximity of the rivers Vézère and Dordogne in which you will be able to have fun freely with your companion and your family.
In July and August, you can also take part in our semi-nocturnal walk, with your companion.
