Garden Karting is an open-air karting circuit in a privileged wooded setting in the heart of the Périgord. 900 METER CIRCUIT IN THE DORDOGNE
The karting circuit is designed to provide the best driving sensations. It is effectively sheltered from crosswinds by the vegetation along the runway. Versatile, it adapts to different levels of practice and offers a wide variety of maneuvers for beginners or advanced. With a length of 900 meters, it alternates between unevenness, chicanes, sprint lines and hairpin bends. This large karting track allows the organization of individual or relay races, and challenges for up to 40 drivers. The automatic timing system invites each driver to go beyond his limits by confronting the difficulties of the track. The 3 best times will be on the podium! Adrenalin and thrills guaranteed!
KARTING FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Karting is a leisure activity but also a mechanical sport that can be dangerous if the safety rules are not respected. For this purpose, Garden Karting has a fleet of karts for adults and karts for children. The adult karts are equipped with a 4-stroke Honda GX 270 cm³ engine with a power of 9 hp, and an 11-liter tank. The children’s karts have a 4-stroke Honda GX 160 cm³ engine with 4.5 hp and a 3-liter tank. They have the particularity of being equipped with an adjustable bucket seat and an adjustable column. Both adult and children’s go-karts feature the same quality construction, including a shaft cover and engine cover designed to protect the driver from all hot parts of the machine for safe riding.
GARDEN KARTING RATES AND SCHEDULES
In autumn, winter and spring, the Garden Karting opens on weekends, school vacations and during the week on reservation. In summer, from July 1st to August 31st, the site is open every day from 10 am to 7 pm. The children’s kart rentals take place in the morning. The rental of the karts is done by 8-minute tickets: count, for an adult, 13 euros per ticket, 36 euros for 3 tickets, and 69 euros for 6 tickets. The child rate is 10 euros per 8 minutes. From 16 years old and from a minimum of 8 people, it is possible to participate in the challenges for an indicative price starting at 40 euros for the discovery challenge (15 minutes of practice and 15 minutes of race), and going up to 90 euros for the Pro challenge (20 minutes of practice, 20 minutes of time, 40 minutes of race). You can also take a driving course with a qualified instructor.
