Our campsite is geographically located between 2 rivers: Dordogne and Vézère.

La Vézère is about 8 kilometers from La Fage family campsite.
It takes its source on the plateau of thousand cows, crosses the Corrèze to pass in the valley of the Vézère, before continuing its way to the ocean.
From Montignac to Les Eyzies, this river is an asset for lovers of whitewater and water sports.
It also offers beautiful landscapes in a wild and naturally preserved environment.
Prestigious sites border the Vézère like the Chateau de Losse, La Roque Saint Christophe, the stronghold of Reignac …
It is possible to admire them during a canoeing activity or swimming with the family for example.
Similarly, the Dordogne is about 25 kilometers from our campsite.
It originates in the Puy de Sancy, in the Massif Central, through the Dordogne region and part of the Gironde. Then she throws herself into the Atlantic Ocean.
It crosses many villages classified as Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Domme … but also historical sites and castles like Castelnaud.
Since July 2012, the rivers of Dordogne and Vézère and all of its watershed are classified “World Man and Biosphere Reserve” by UNESCO.
